Salted Pork

University of Peloponnisos

Traditionally, the people of Arcadia used food that could be found in mountainous regions in their cooking. The main source of meat came from the animals they were breading. Salted pork was present in all households and could be preserved for a long time. Today salted pork is still used in the local cuisine.
