Geraki - Church of Ayia Paraskevi
Prefectural Administration of Lakonia
A cross-domed church of the Late Byzantine period, with dilapidated structures in the north and south. A large section of its painting, which belongs mainly to the first half of the 15th century, survives. Of interest are the portrayals, in six scenes, of the donors of the church in the west wall, and of Ayia Paraskevi in the north, which is surrounded by a limestone shrine with relief and carved decoration of geometric designs and animals.
