Agios Vasilios Kynourias

University of Peloponnisos

This is a village with rich vegetation and many springs. Although it was burned by the Germans during the occupation (World War II), it retains its picturesque character. From the beautiful square with the plane trees, you can visit a renovated stone house and see the monument of the war victims. Ancient Glyppia is believed to have been located just outside the village. Moreover, on the road to Paleochori, lies the Monastery of Taxiarhis Mourias.
