At the heart of Mainalo, the highest quality of fir honey known by the name «Vanilla Mainalou», is produced. It is known for its low concentration of sugar. It comes from a resin that is produced by some microorganisms in the body of the fir trees. This delicious honey with the white iridescences is harvested in mid-June.
