The village has abundant water resources. Itís worth visiting the churches of the village such as Agios Vasilios church which is the largest, and has now been designated as a historic monument, but also the church of Agios Ioannis, built with ancient building materials. Around the village there are many attractions for visitors. There are abandoned water mills, many chapels and the ruins of the Tower of Aga. Just outside the village, on the way to the village Kokkoras there is a cave called Lagafti. Inside the cave there is a small chapel. Ancient Melaines used to be in this region. Near the village, parts of ancient fortifications can be found. Probably, this is the citadel of ancient Melaines. This ancient city is mentioned by Pausanias. We also know that Melaines was on the Roman road from Olympia to Megalopolis. In the village feasts are organized on the 21 / 5, 6 / 8, 15 / 8, 17 / 8, 29 / 8.
