Agios Haralabos at Spyridon Trikoupis’s house, 33 Danaou Str.

Municipality of Argos

It is in the background of the garden between trees and rich vegetation. It is a small and severe church with an arch-shaped roof, stone-built and single-spaced inside. It was built by Spyridon Trikoupis and was an integral supplement of the mansion. The level of the church is lower than one of the garden and the person who enters has to go down three or four stairs. The wall making is strong and very well-looked after.
It has gone through posterior alterations – we do not know exactly when. During these works, asbestos cement sheeting was placed on the roof and the upper circle of the west side, elements which denature the aesthetics and architecture of the building to a great extend.
